Just like in every good party I’ve ever been to, people start dying and tentacles get involved. Whenever he washes his hands, he travels through time, which is… convenient? Quincy is invited to a fancy party in a secluded mansion, where he discovers a time machine in the bathroom. The story of To the Moon 3: Impostor Factory follows a new character named Quincy. However, it will “likely mark the end of an era for Freebird Games and the To the Moon series.” The game can be played independently of the previous two games, which is great because I never did get around to playing Finding Paradise. Though, “suspicious cat” is a bit redundant – all cats are suspicious.
What we do know is that “Impostor Factory is a bonkers time-loop tragicomedy murder mystery thriller involving multiple casualties and a suspicious cat.” Most of this official description speaks to me on a deep level. To the Moon 3 is still called Impostor Factory, or “Episode X: Impostor Factory.” So the game isn’t officially the third part of a trilogy, and Freebird Games are refusing to reveal how the new game is connected to the series.
